(Beginning to advanced acoustic, electric and, bass guitar)

I teach beginning to intermediate students from age 7 to adults. My styles of teaching include Rock, Blues, Country and the Classical and Bass Guitars. Beginning students will be introduced to basic technique and how to read music and tablature notation for guitar or bass guitar. I will also transcribe a favorite song or piece of music if requested.

I am currently playing and recording with the Gulley Jimson Quartet and the Brent Buckley Band. The Gulley Jimson Quartet is a rockabilly group the plays a mix of originals and covers of roots rock and country tunes. The Brent Buckley Band is a power trio mixing original songs and classic rock. I have taught at 4 different music studios as well as private instructing. You can currently find me teaching in 3 different studios: Classic Axe Guitar Gallery (2001) to present, Contemporary Music Center (2003 to present) and Music and Arts Center (1978 to present).

I have an MA from The University of the Americas and a BA from George Mason University. You can find me teaching at Classic Axe on Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.
